March against education cuts

Join us on Saturday 27th May for a Protest March in Palmers Green where we will be celebrating what makes our schools so great. We are marching to highlight the massive cuts our schools are facing - and we need you there with us.

Where: Hazelwood School N13 5HE

When: 27 May 10:30am to march at 11am

We will join the march at 11am, through Palmers Green/Greens Lanes and finish at the gates of Broomfield Park to enable you to picnic with friends.

From the organizers: 

Come along and:  Make your voice heard in fighting cuts to schools  Make some noise - bring whistles, drums etc  Enter the poster competition - we want your kids to bring home made posters showing what they love most about their school.

There will be prizes…  Wear school uniform if you want to!  Parking is very limited in the area, please walk or use public transport

Schools in England are facing the biggest cuts in a generation The money following your child into school is going down. This will mean:  increased class sizes  loss of teaching and support staff fewer subject choices  fewer resources and out of school activities
